As a Functional Training Specialist, she has learned to help people move more efficiently, prevent injury, improve their balance and flexibility, build strength, and improve their overall quality of life.

Layla was born and raised in Ashland, OR (AHS class of ‘09). Since spending the past 10 years in Portland, OR, NYC, and Flagstaff, AZ, she is excited to be back ‘home’ where she can serve her community of Southern Oregon.
Having grown up playing most sports (including being the only girl on the flag football team), enduring a fair share of injuries was part of the package. She learned first-hand the importance of practicing proper form to prevent future injuries and how to rehab back to performance-ready health.
She has spent her adult years studying and working in both the physical fitness/medical fields and truly believes that what she does in the physical fitness niche IS preventative healthcare.
Daniel will help to bridge the gap between your mind, emotions, and purpose so that you can rewrite your narrative and get on track to becoming who you authentically were meant to be in life, sports, and elsewhere.
